Nellie is a kind-hearted, full-of-grit, and ready-to-work-all-day kind of 3-year-old mare. She has the proven bloodlines to work on the ranch or in the showpen.
Nellie is a calm, quiet mare who can go in any pasture with any kind of horse. She stands still, is easy-going, and can handle the chaos of kids and a lesson program with ease and gentleness.
She is from the legendary Ranching Heritage Breeding program at RA Brown Ranch and wears the RAB brand on her left shoulder. She has been on cattle for about 6 months now. She has a nice smooth drawl, quick stop, and gentle transitions. She picks up both leads and does flying changes. Quick, correct turns and stops. And possibly our favorite part about her personality is her deep desire to do right and work hard… she doesn’t quit.
We fell in love with Nellie because of her attitude, gentleness, and unique looks. She has bone that will stand the test of time, a mind that won’t fray, and the heart of a high performer (whatever kind of performance you expect from her).
